Taking a HARD look at the Business of Politics

The Plog Politicians love to hate.

Issues, not gender or race, says Professor Holley-Walker

When bitching about the bizarre behavior of Big Media in reporting this Presidential campaign, it’s amazing just how alike the reactions of a White Woman Web Designer in PA and a Black Woman Law Professor in South Carolina are to the antics of The Press, those Big Media shills who are definitely not telling any of us what we want to hear about our Presidential Candidates. It’s the ISSUES we want to hear about.

What amazed me most is that Danielle Holley-Walker’s opinion piece was published by one of the worst offenders in all this– CNN.

All along there have been stories in Alternative Media about how Big Media is framing the whole campaign, from the repeated near absense of questions about Environmental Issues to the current near silence about Iraq. And you realize we never hear anything in Big Media about the issues of Big Media Reform and very little about Telecomm Immunity, since the line between the Big Media and the Telecomms has become so blurry, and since they of course have a stake in those issues, so why do honest reporting on them?

After all, what can we expect from a Media Company? If half their advertising is about Botox, then I suppose they think they can sell more of it if they’re pointing out how haggard Hillary looks.

We can make this tax code pro-growth, pro-family, and fair. And I will bring Republics and Democrats together to do so.
