International Emergency Economic Powers Act?
Hmm, this order recently came out of the White House. It basically allows the US Government to seize all property of an individual if they are SUSPECTED of a terrorist act or of consorting with someone who is suspected. Geez, that is broad and generalized language mixed in amongst the “wherefore . . . but are not limited to . . . prohibition . . . pursuant” type legaleze language.. Doesn’t that sound a bit ripe for abuse to you? It does to me, in the exact same way the Patriot Act did (and was.)
