Mainstream Media ignores Torture Memo

The only Big Media outlet giving the Torture Memo any play is the New York Times, which is the BEST argument going for not letting Wall Street into their Boardroom. Wall Street has benefitted ridiculously from Bush and Company’s wholesale deregulation and resultant bailout after the predictable meltdown it caused, and Big Media outlets owned publicly and traded on Wall Street are not about to slap the hand that feeds them. So, with the exception of the Times and a few other still independent newspapers, Big Media is not reporting on the Torture Memo.

Which leads us that much further down the road to fascism. One can only imagine the invention, prior to the next presidential inauguration, of a Terrorist Incident that allows Bush to seize property (and how much you wanna bet it won’t be Republican property he seizes) and declare Martial Law. And when that day comes Big Media will feature a story about Britney.
