CNN suppresses story on FCC suppressed Documents?
If you search on any of the search engines for the terms “FCC documents Boxer” you’ll get an eyeful on the scandal rocking the FCC re documents that were suppressed that showed that Big Media Mergers were bad for consumers, bad for local news, and not in anyone’s interest but the media owners and those politicians whom they’ve supported. Senator Barbara Boxer presented these documents to the Senate Commerce Committee and requested an investigation into the matter. The FCC is MANDATED to be looking out for US citizens of all kinds, not just the ones who own Media Corporations or hold high public office.
Imagine my surprise when I did the search from the CNN homepage, with the radio button set to “search CNN” and NO results were returned on this important FCC scandal. Geez, CNN, even FOX NEWS carried this story, though their headline made it seem like it was Martin’s idea to order the investigation.
CNN, you’ve been BITCHSLAPPED. And so has the FCC.
