Your post is great and really puts body image into perspective, and the tie-in with who controls the media is pretty obvious. Since women have the purchasing power, the Mainstream Media will do their best to distort us, brainwash us and belittle us to get us to buy more product. My solution to this state of affairs was to throw out my TV ten years ago. It's amazing how much more original my thinking has become since then! There is something very perverted about what Mainstream Media does to us. You’re welcome, Maria.
