I hope Congress gets off it’s stupid Democratic duff
and cuts off the purse strings NOW. I cannot believe that King Bush is going to go against the will of the people, most of his OWN PARTY, and his military advisors to send another 20k+ troop into Iraq!
Insanity. Sheerest insanity. I guess King Bush wants to live on in history any way possible, even if it’s as another Hitler.
And by the way, there is NO EXCUSE for calling up the National Guard to go to Iraq. If King Bush can’t do this with regular troops, then it’s even more obvious that it shouldn’t be done AT ALL.

I’ve got news for you. The Reservists and National Guard have known for MONTHS that this was coming. My friend, Rick, who serves, told me back in August that they’d already been mobilizing over the summer.

It’s not the “democratic” duff, it’s the “democrat” duff. There is no “Democratic” party, it’s the Democrat party. Anyway, let’s see what they have done. Stopped smoking in the speaker’s lobby. Raised the federal minimum wage, but Star Kist tuna is exempt because it’s owned by Del Monte that is HQ’ed in Pelosi’s district. Oh, they voted to block tax CUTS and then voted to make tax raises by the house a simple majority, not the 2 thirds the republicans required.
Iraq? You’re kidding, right? You actually believed that was their primary concern? That was the campaign. Only idiots like cindy sheehan bought into that BS.

I forgot to say that many democrats said that there were not enough troops in Iraq and the reserves have always been called up in advance. Saddam was the hitler not Bush. Tens of thousands of Kurds are unavailable to comment.

Ryan, Bush is as guilty of killing his own citizens as Hussein was, it’s just number of deaths and method used that is different.
BTW, did you know that Bush’s grandaddy, Prescott Bush, was a Nazi supporter?
